ah, relief.

this week I was reminded of the wonderful work of san francisco native: sylvia ji, one of my personal favorites. in her paintings of elegant women she hints a decaying and mysterious beauty. and not to mention her amazing use of technique, each portrait are flawless. so there you have it, a creative series of subjects plus some good olfashioned brush talent and voi'la, you have got yourself one hell of an artist. one of her day of the dead ladies would make for a rad tattoo...
